Congratulations go out to the Pugliesvich Southern Shore Breakers on their successful playoff run to end the 2021-2022 AESHL season.  For their efforts the Breakers take home the Joe Maynard AESHL Championship Trophy and the Hockey NL Herder Memorial Championship Trophy.  The Breakers beat the Clarenville Ford Caribous in 4 straight games to claim victory.  The 4^th place Caribous had a strong performance themselves, beating the Harbour Grace CeeBees in 3 games, followed by a Game 7 overtime victory over the first place St. John’s Senior Capitals.

The AESHL would like to thank its fans who supported the league all season and throughout the playoffs.  It was a difficult year at times and our thanks go out to the fans who stuck with their teams through everything.  The competition level was up from previous seasons and we look forward to next season which we hope will be even better.
