CeeBees can clinch championship berth this weekend; Breakers and Eagles deadlocked

(Feb. 16, 2014) -- The Harbour Grace Ocean Enterprises CeeBee Stars are a win away from advancing to the Avalon East Senior Hockey League championship series as the circuit heads into the third weekend of semifinal play. The CeeBees hold a 3-1 lead over the St. John's Green Sleeves Caps with Game 5 in the best-of-seven series set for Saturday night, 7:30, at the Danny Cleary Community Centre in Harbour Grace. The Conception Bay North club is undefeated in 14 games at home this season, including two meetings in this series. Game 6, if necessary, is set for 8:30 Monday night at the Goulds Sports Arena. The weekend kicks off with the Tapper's Northeast Eagles hosting the Puglisevich Southern Shore Breakers in Game 5 of their deadlocked best-of-seven series on Friday night at the Jack Byrne Arena in Torbay. Game 6 goes Sunday evening, 7 o'clock, at the Southern Shore Arena in Mobile. Both clubs are undefeated on home ice through the first four games of this series.
