The Tappers Northeast Eagles have made a trade with the St. John's Green Sleeves Caps to acquire defenseman Doug O'Brien, who had been the Caps 1st round draft pick in the first 2016/17 AESHL Entry Draft.
In return, the Caps acquired the rights to players Mitch Flynn, Brandon Kalbfleisch and the Eagles first round picks in the second 2016/17 and 2017/18 AESHL Drafts.
